Some Random Holiday Activities.......

First off we have a new friend at our house for 18 months (hopefully).  While Grandma and Grandpa are on their mission to Sweden, we have inherited their 11 year old dog.  She is such a nice dog, we don't really mind (except she sheds more than Sunny) but you can tell by this picture, T is very happy to have her.  And she loves him too.  Her name is Maggie and when he is home she follows him everywhere and sleeps on the floor next to his bed.  We really hope that the kids will keep her young so she can see Grandma and Grandpa when they get home.

On December 5th, I played in the Christmas concert with the Orchestra again.  We played some fun songs and had a sing-a-long at the end with the audience.

Then A had her annual Christmas recital.  She did wonderful - I love to watch her perform, she has such a beautiful smile even when she is a little nervous.

And lastly, our ward Christmas party.  The primary kids acted out the manger scene and R was asked to be Joseph, T was in the choir of angels, and A was one of the lambs.  Keep in mind that R is almost 12 years old and feeling pretty cool these days, so his acting skills are lacking slightly.  But here's a little secret.... I think he was kinda flattered to be asked to be Joseph, actually.  While they practiced the whole thing before the party started (I wasn't there yet) I was told that R had to be told by our neighbor to sit NEXT to Mary, not on the opposite side corner of the chair, facing away from her.  He needed a little help looking interested in her and his "new baby."  Nice one!

One more cute picture of L and A checking out Baby Jesus in front of Grandma and Grandpa's house after their "farewell" at church.
