Spring Break

This spring break we stayed close to home, but had some fun times.  Here's a recap of the long weekend.

First, at the end of March we celebrated a birthday.  Can you tell how old Larry is now?  Happy Birthday! We LOVE you!

On Friday we decided to go up to Ensign Peak.
This is what we saw when we first got there.

 Then we started walking up.

In the left picture I was timing R  ^ here^    as he ran up and back down the hill.  He did it in under 1 min.

We ended up at the Church History Museum downtown.

On Saturday we saw the Blue and White football game/scrimmage (looked more like a practice to me -which I guess it kind of was) in Provo and then went to the baseball game.

Girls weren't totally into the football "practice" so we ended up hanging out under the stadium.

Cougars vs Pepperdine

Cougars lost, but the girls were excited to have Cosmo come over and say Hi.  When he first walked into the stadium L saw him and yelled, "HI Cosmo, it's me!!!"  I laughed out loud :)  The boys lasted an inning in the stadium and then went out the gates to watch from the grass at the very end of right field and run after foul balls.  They came home with 5 foul balls!

On Sunday we decorated some eggs.

Monday we decided we hadn't had enough of Provo so we went back down.  The boys have always wanted to go into the Legends Museum on campus, so we thought we'd give it a try.

R measured his foot against the largest shoe believed to be worn by an athlete at BYU - size 18.  Just a side note: R's new cleats are size 12 (in men's).

Of course needed a picture by the first perfect game ball at BYU.

 I really liked this quote!

Somehow I didn't get any pictures of Easter Sunday or any of the egg hunts.  But it was a really good weekend as Larry had taken off Friday and Monday to do these fun things with us.

HAPPY SPRING!
